Don’t You Hate Hail Season In Colorado?
Roofing Contractors Constantly Knocking On Your Door
Every year Colorado’s Front Range has damaging hail storms. Some years are worse than others. If you have lived here for the past twenty years or so, chances are you have had a roof or two replaced. You have even come to expect that shortly after a damaging storm in your neighborhood, you will be inundated with roofers offering to inspect your roof for Free.
In Colorado from Colorado Springs to Denver to Fort Collins and beyond there is no shortage of Colorado roofing contractors.
That’s not the worst part
Shortly after the local guys find out about the hail storm that just pounded your neighborhood, the Storm chasers arrive on the scene. Stormers are from out of state and will hire canvassing people, sales people and out of town subcontractors to install roofs.
These people are here to make a quick buck and then head off to the next storm. In their paths they leave a trail of unhappy Colorado homeowners. They do shoddy work, leave subs, suppliers and their work force out in the cold by not paying them. The result of a storm chaser usually leads to your home getting liened.
Their offers are usually to good to be true but hard to pass up
Unscrupulous roofing contractors will offer bribery and kick backs to unsuspecting homeowners. Those deductible waiving, kick back giving con-men offer you a great dealĀ take your money and do shoddy work. Then they leave town. Now you are stuck with a roof that is unserviceable and has no warranty.
If you are offered to have your deductible waived or offered money to have your roof installed by insurance proceeds you could be investigated for insurance fraud. Yes it’s illegal to profit from your insurance claim. Why would you trust your roof and your home to a criminal who could care less about craftsmanship, code requirements and so on?
I’ve been helping homeowners since 2005 with their hail damage roofing claims.
I have worked with quite a few roofing contractors since that time and I have seen the scams and rip-offs from con-men posing as roofing contractors.
Before I signed on with the current roofing contractor I interviewed several Colorado roofing contractors. Quite frankly some of them gave me the heebie jeebies or otherwise creepy feelings. After my interview process I came aboard to a great team with a great owner who cares about his clients, employees and found nothing negative during my background checks of him.
He pays his suppliers and hires some of the best installation crews I’ve ever seen. The owner cares about the roofing industry. To me, that is what made my decision so simple to work with him.
If you are like me you’ll want to do some checking on this company too.
If you have suffered hail damage to your home, you’ll want to get the work done as quickly and painlessly as possible.
As a formerly licensed public insurance adjuster I know the important parts of your homeowners insurance policy. My job is to get you the best possible roofing system on your home with the most in depth warranties. Your only out of pocket expense will be your deductible unless you want to upgrade to different type of roof material that the insurance won’t cover.
Don’t sign with another Colorado roofing contractor until you call me.
When we talk I will reveal the name of the company that cares deeply about the roofing industry and why I should be the guy handling your roof project.
